This is because while water cleans our body it also removes its natural skin oil. But a major reason for itchy skin and also dry hair is the quality of water we bathe in.

- The main factor to consider is the quality of water we bathe in. There are two conditions that generally have a negative effect on our skin. One is the hard water and the other is the chlorine.
They both irritate the skin making it dry and itchy, therefore they have to be eliminated. Now, we know that the chlorine in drinking water cannot be avoided. We can use however a filter to remove it. But if in addition if you are living in a region with hard water, you will need a double treatment. Consider looking for a water softener equipped with a water filter that also eliminates the chlorine - Use mild soaps based on natural oils with naturally scents if any – Many handmade soaps are suitable, when made with natural, and even better organic ingredients.
